# Dashboard

> Your financial command center — KPIs, charts, and merchant overview

# Dashboard

The dashboard is your financial command center. It aggregates data across all your merchants into a single view.

## Key Metrics

All metrics respect the **date filter** in the top-right corner (7d, 30d, 90d, All, Custom). Metrics show period-over-period comparison.

| Metric              | Description                                                 |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Net Revenue** | Gross revenue minus refunds for the selected period |
| **Transactions**    | Total approved + settled transactions                       |
| **Avg Transaction** | Average transaction value (successful only) |
| **Approval Rate** | Successful / total attempted transactions |
| **Customers** | Total unique customers with successful payments |
| **MRR** | Monthly Recurring Revenue from detected + NMI subscriptions |
| **Refund Rate** | Refund amount / gross revenue |
| **Settled**         | Total settled volume                                        |

<Info>
  All metrics exclude `source=internal` transactions (settlement records) to avoid double-counting.
</Info>

## Revenue Trend Chart

Shows daily revenue over the selected period with a trend line. Hover for daily totals.

## Payment Methods

Breakdown of transaction volume by card brand (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) and payment method. Includes **debit vs credit** split powered by BIN lookup data.

<Tip>
  Card brands are normalized — "visa", "Visa", and "VISA" are all grouped as "Visa". Debit/credit identification uses a 374K+ BIN database.
</Tip>

## Merchant Leaderboard

Ranks merchants by revenue with transaction count, approval rate, and refund count. Click any merchant to view their detail page.

## Date Filter Persistence

The date filter is stored in your browser and persists across page navigation. When you set "90d" on the dashboard, it stays "90d" when you navigate to Transactions, Customers, etc.
